โปรแกรม FileZilla นั้น มีจุดเด่นเรื่องการใช้งานง่ายเนื่องจากมีอินเทอร์เฟชแบบกราฟิก (GUI) มีประสิทธิภาพการทำงานสูง และความน่าเชื่อถือในการทำงาน นอกจากนี้ยังมีฟีเจอร์ให้ใช้งานอีกมากมาย ที่สำคัญสามารถใช้งานได้ฟรีภายใต้ไลเซนส์แบบ GNU General Public License
