Opera เป็นโปรแกรมอินเทอร์เน็ตเว็บเบราเซอร์อีกหนึ่งตัวที่ได้รับความนิยมมากพอ สมควร มีจุดเด่นในเรื่องความเร็วในการท่องอินเทอร์เน็ต (ผู้พัฒนาอ้างว่าเร็วที่สุดในโลก) มีอินเทอร์เฟชที่สวยงามน่าใช้ และมีฟีเจอร์ (Feature) ที่ดีหลายๆ อย่าง ถือเป็นทางเลือกเพิ่มเติมนอกจากเว็บเบราเซอร์ยอดนิยมตัวอื่นๆ อย่าง Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer หรือ Google Chrome

วันที่ 13 สิงหาคม 2553 ทีมผู้พัฒนาได้ออก Opera 10.61 ซึ่งในเวอร์ชันใหม่ล่าสุดนี้เป็นการปรับปรุงและแก้ปัญหาการทำงานหลายๆ อย่าง ตามรายละเอียดด้านล่างครับ
