ไมโครซอฟท์เปิดให้ดาวน์โหลดไฟล์อิมเมจ (ISO Image) ของการอัพเดทของเดือนธันวาคม 2553 ได้แล้ว โดยจะเป็นการรวม "Microsoft Security Update for December 2010" ของวินโดวส์ทั้งหมดที่ออกเมื่อวันที่ 13 ธ.ค. 53 ที่ผ่านมา ทั้งนี้ เพื่อให้ผู้ใช้วินโดวส์และซอฟต์แวร์ของไมโครซอฟท์ซึ่งไม่สะดวกในการอัพเดทวิ นโดวส์ผ่านทางอินเทอร์เน็ต สามารถทำการดาวน์โหลดจากออฟฟิชหรือจากร้านอินเทอร์เน็ตคาเฟ่เพื่อนำไปทำ การอัพเดทเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ที่ไม่ได้เชื่อมต่อกับอินเทอร์เน็ต

ไฟล์ซีเคียวริตี้อัพเดทอิมเมจดังกล่าวนี้ สามารถดาวน์โหลดได้ฟรีจากเว็บไซต์ของไมโครซอฟท์ตามรายละเอียดด้านล่าง โดยไฟล์อิมเมจอยู่ในรูปฟอร์แมต DVD5 ISO ดังนั้น หลังจากดาวน์โหลดเสร็จแล้วจะต้องทำการเบิร์นลงแผ่น DVD ก่อน จึงจะสามารถนำไปใช้อัพเดทเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ได้
