FileZilla 3.4.0 โปรแกรมไคลเอ็นต์ FTP แบบโอเพนซอร์ส
FileZilla 3.4.0 เวอร์ชันใหม่สุด และเป็นตัวแรกของเวอร์ชัน 3.4 ของโปรแกรมไคลเอ็นต์ FTP, FTPS และ SFTP แบบ Open Source โดยในเวอร์ชันล่าสุดนี้ออกเมื่อวันที่ 27 มีนาคม 2554 มีการปรับปรุงการทำงานหลายอย่าง เช่น การอัปเดทการแปลภาษา, มีเช็คบ็อกซ์สำหรับกำหนดให้โปรแกรมไม่ต้องจำรหัสผ่าน เป็นต้น

FileZilla เป็นโปรแกรมไคลเอ็นต์ FTP แบบมัลติแพลตฟอร์ม (Multiplatform) นั้นคือมีเวอร์ชันที่ครอบคลุมทั้งระบบปฏิบัติการ Unix, Linux และ Windows สำหรับเวอร์ชันบนระบบ Windows สามารถทำงานได้บน Windows 9x,Windows ME, Windows NT4, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista และ Windows 7 ทั้งรุ่น 32-bit และ 64-bit มีจุดเด่น ในด้านการใช้งานง่ายเนื่องจากมีอินเทอร์เฟชแบบกราฟิก (GUI) มีประสิทธิภาพและความน่าเชื่อถือในการทำงานสูง นอกจากนี้ยังมีฟีเจอร์ต่างๆ ให้ใช้งานครบถ้วน ที่สำคัญสามารถใช้งานได้ฟรีโดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายภายใต้ไลเซนส์แบบ GNU General Public License

การปรับปรุงการทำงานโปรแกรม FileZilla 3.4.0
ใน FileZilla 3.4.0 มีการเพิ่มคุณสมบัติใหม่ดังนี้
- Add checkbox to settings dialog to not save passwords.
- Add timestamp columns to successful and failed queue tabs showing when the transfers completed or failed.
- Normal FTP connections now always attempt to negotiate secure FTP over TLS.
- Added option to force use of insecure plain FTP to Site Manager.
- Kiosk mode option can now also be read from FileZilla.xml, with fzdefaults.xml having priority if setting exists in both files.

นอกจากนี้ใน FileZilla 3.4.0 ยังมีการอัปเดทการแปลภาษา (Updated translations) อีกด้วย
