9 สิงหาคม 2554: Adobe ออกโปรแกรม Flash Player 10.3.183.5 สำหรับระบบปฏิบัติการ Windows, Macintosh, Linux และ Solaris และ Flash Player 10.3.186.3 สำหรับระบบปฏิบัติการ Android เพื่อแก้ ปัญหาความปลอดภัยร้ายแรงระดับวิกฤต (Critical vulnerabilities) ที่พบใน Flash Player 10.3.181.36 และเก่ากว่า สำหรับระบบปฏิบัติการ Windows, Macintosh, Linux และ Solaris และในโปรแกรม Flash Player 10.3.185.25 และเก่ากว่า สำหรับระบบปฏิบัติการ Android โดยปัญหาดังกล่าวนี้อาจทำให้โปรแกรมเกิดการแครชและส่งผลให้เกิดช่องโหว่ที่ แฮ็กเกอร์สามารถใช้ในการควบคุมระบบได้

ปัญหาที่ได้รับการแก้ไข
ใน Flash Player 10.3.181.36 มีการปัญแก้ไขปัญหาจำนวน 13 ปัญหา ดังนี้

• This update resolves a buffer overflow vulnerability that could lead to code execution (CVE-2011-2134).
• This update resolves a memory corruption vulnerability that could lead to code execution (CVE-2011-2135).
• This update resolves an integer overflow vulnerability that could lead to code execution (CVE-2011-2136).
• This update resolves a buffer overflow vulnerability that could lead to code execution (CVE-2011-2137).
• This update resolves an integer overflow vulnerability that could lead to code execution (CVE-2011-2138).
• This update resolves a cross-site information disclosure vulnerability that could lead to code execution (CVE-2011-2139).
• This update resolves a memory corruption vulnerability that could lead to code execution (CVE-2011-2140).
• This update resolves a buffer overflow vulnerability that could lead to code execution (CVE-2011-2414).
• This update resolves a buffer overflow vulnerability that could lead to code execution (CVE-2011-2415).
• This update resolves an integer overflow vulnerability that could lead to code execution (CVE-2011-2416).
• This update resolves a memory corruption vulnerability that could lead to code execution (CVE-2011-2417).
• This update resolves a memory corruption vulnerability that could lead to code execution (CVE-2011-2425).

การอัพเดท Flash Player
ตามปกติแล้วโปรแกรม Adobe Update Manager จะทำการตรวจสอบการอัพเดท Flash Player โดยอัตโนมัติ และถ้ามีเวอร์ชันใหม่ก็จะแสดงหน้าไดอะล็อกบ็อกซ์ Update Adobe Flash Player ให้ผู้ใช้ทำการอัพเดท โดยการอัพเดททำได้โดยคลิก Install จากนั้น ในหน้าไดอะล็อกบ็อกซ์ Adobe Flash Player 10.3 Installer ให้เลือกเช็คบ็อกซ์หน้า I have read and agree to the terms of the Flash Player License Agreement. แล้วคลิก Install แล้วรอจนการติดตั้งแล้วเสร็จ (ต้องปิดโปรแกรมเว็บเบราเซอร์ในขณะที่ทำการติดตั้ง)


นอกจากการอัพเดทโดยใช้ Adobe Update Manager แล้ว ผู้ใช้สามารถทำการอัพเดทเป็น Flash Player 10.3.183.5 ด้วยตนเองได้โดยใช้เว็บบราวเซอร์เปิดไปที่เว็บไซต์ Get Flash Player จากนั้นคลิก Download now แล้วดำเนินการตามขั้นตอนบนจอภาพจนการติดตั้งแล้วเสร็จ หรือดาวน์โหลดอัพเดทมาทำการติดตั้งด้วยตนเองได้จากเว็บไซต์ด้านล่าง

• ดาวน์โหลด Flash Player 10.3.183.5 for Internet Explorer ได้ที่เว็บไซต์ Download Flash Player EXE Installer 
• ดาวน์โหลด Flash Player 10.3.183.5 for Plugin-based browsers (Windows) ได้ที่เว็บไซต์ Download Flash Player for Firefox

สำหรับผู้ใช้ Flash Player 10.3.185.25 หรือเก่ากว่าบนระบบปฏิบัติการ Android สามารถทำการอัพเดทเป็นเวอร์ชัน 10.3.186.3 ผ่านทาง Android Marketplace บน Android phone

ส่วนผู้ใช้ Google Chrome นั้น ให้ทำการอัพเดทเป็น Google Chrome 13.0.782.112
