สืบเนื่องจากมีการพบ ปัญหาช่องโหว่ความปลอดภัยร้ายแรงจำนวน 12 ตัว ในโปรแกรม Flash Player 11.0.1.152 และเก่ากว่า เวอร์ชันสำหรับระบบปฏิบัติการ Windows, MAC OS, Linux และ Solaris และใน Flash Player 11.0.1.153 และเก่ากว่า เวอร์ชันสำหรับระบบปฏิบัติการ Android โดยช่องโหว่ความปลอดภัยเหล่านี้อาจทำให้โปรแกรม Flash Player ทำงานผิดพลาดและส่งผลให้เกิดช่องโหว่ที่แฮกเกอร์สามารถใช้เข้าควบคุมเครื่อง คอมพิวเตอร์ได้

วิธีการป้องกันการถูกโจมตีจากมัลแวร์และแฮกเกอร์
Adobe แนะนำให้ผู้ใช้ดำเนินการดังนี้

• ผู้ใช้ Flash Player 11.0.1.152 บนระบบ Windows, MAC OS, Linux และ Solaris ให้อัพเดทเป็น Flash Player 11.1.102.55
• ผู้ใช้ Flash Player 11.0.1.153 บนระบบ Android ให้อัพเดทเป็น Flash Player 11.1.102.59

วิธีอัพเดท Flash Player
ตามปกติแล้วโปรแกรม Adobe Update Manager จะทำการตรวจสอบการอัพเดท Flash Player โดยอัตโนมัติ และถ้ามีเวอร์ชันใหม่ก็จะแสดงหน้าไดอะล็อกบ็อกซ์ Update Adobe Flash Player ให้ผู้ใช้ทำการอัพเดท โดยการอัพเดททำได้โดยคลิก Install จากนั้น ในหน้าไดอะล็อกบ็อกซ์ Adobe Flash Player 11.1 Installer ให้เลือกเช็คบ็อกซ์หน้า I have read and agree to the terms of the Flash Player License Agreement. แล้วคลิก Install แล้วรอจนการติดตั้งแล้วเสร็จ (ต้องปิดโปรแกรมเว็บเบราเซอร์ในขณะที่ทำการติดตั้ง)


นอกจากการอัพเดทโดยใช้ Adobe Update Manager แล้ว ผู้ใช้สามารถทำการอัพเดทเป็น Flash Player 11.1.102.55 ด้วยตนเองได้โดยใช้เว็บบราวเซอร์เปิดไปที่เว็บไซต์ Get Flash Player จากนั้นคลิก Download now แล้วดำเนินการตามขั้นตอนบนจอภาพจนการติดตั้งแล้วเสร็จ หรือดาวน์โหลดอัพเดทมาทำการติดตั้งด้วยตนเองได้จากเว็บไซต์ด้านล่าง
